Warehouse Demand Expected to Exceed Pre-Recession Peak in 2012 (CoStar) Prologis, the world’s largest developer and owner of warehouses, expects the recovery in logistics real estate will accelerate through 2012

On the bright side, building permits are up (MSNBC) The Commerce Department reported that building permits hit a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 620,000 last month, up 3.2 percent from a revised rate of 601,000 in July.

The rebuilding of Tysons Corner (Washington Post) Tysons is only a few years away from realizing the reinvention that has been many years in the making.
