Walmart will build to LEED in D.C. (Washington Business Journal) Walmart Stores Inc. will build its D.C. stores, at least two of them and maybe all four of them, to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.

Alexandria officials to study alternative waterfront plan (Washington Post) City officials said they will investigate whether the alternative, to the current one for the Waterfront, proposed by a group of local residents is “financially feasible or legally defensible."
