Disney scraps plans for 500 room hotel at National Harbor (Washington Post) Disney paid $11m for the land several years ago, but amid other ongoing projects Disney will likely sell the land back to the original developers.

New plans for RFK parking lot? (CityPaper) In the short term, at least, a children's playground may be a welcome use for part of the site.
