Morning Real Estate Review


Alexandria Council looks for waterfront compromise (Washington Post) Though changes are likely, Council indicates likely approval of some version of the plan to develop the Old Town waterfront.

National housing inventory hits seasonal low, but sales are up (Realestate Business Intelligence) New listings were down 22%, while DC sales were up by 2.2% year over year.

Has the housing market hit a bottom?
(Forbes) 2011 was only a slightly negative year for housing, but sinking home values slowed throughout the year and appear to be poised to appreciate modestly this year.
