I know, how about a streetcar station? <br /><br />For $30 million do you build more retail space in a city with plenty of vacant retail space - anyone been over by the Convention Center lately? Or, do you restore transit between Columbia Heights/Mt Pleasant and Farragut Square and replace one of the city's busiest bus lines that gets stuck in traffic on the circle with something that moves you quickly and efficiently?<br /><br />The pictures of Templehoff are great, looks like a wonderful opportunity to put an interactive and fun park in the middle of the city. Outside, with light.
