If the plan is based partially on the premise of a Metro stop at a central location to the entire development, extra residential/office space development close to the Braddock Rd station should not be a focus. The park will be central to all the development off of Slaters Ln (the Greens) and the new development described in this blog. I live nearby and walk through this area frequently and it is sorely in need of some green space, especially when new development covers 80% of the area.Nick Parteehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01650881242818280232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-67611324890114562052008-11-11T23:15:00.000-05:002008-11-11T23:15:00.000-05:00Landbay K is the southernmost, not the easternmost...Landbay K is the southernmost, not the easternmost portion of the site. The author was evidently confused by the fact that north on the map is to the left, not the top. It's really unfortunate that this land has been slated for park use, because it's the closest part of the Yard to the Braddock Road Metro station and should be developed to a higher density consistent with its proximity to Metrorail.Jimblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08813446263451978042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-5449851552861185232008-11-05T15:35:00.000-05:002008-11-05T15:35:00.000-05:00Thanks for the update. Seems sorely needed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
