It implies that the design is by Hartman Cox; that is not the case. The competition-winning entry was by local architect Larissa Kurylas. Hartman Cox was engaged as architect-of-record. This is the same role played by Cooper Lecky at the Viet Vets Memorial. It would certainly be incorrect to say that the Viet Vets Memorial's team was "led by Cooper Lecky." Hartman Cox was brought on due to their expertise in navigating the approvals process.

It would be nice if the post were corrected.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-76047459411907112822011-12-12T00:52:32.841-05:002011-12-12T00:52:32.841-05:00Apologies for the earlier misspelling, it has been...Apologies for the earlier misspelling, it has been corrected in the article.Kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08295461340042242438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-34602545260632455422011-12-11T23:36:44.859-05:002011-12-11T23:36:44.859-05:00I don't see BigJim's point, I read it agai...I don't see BigJim's point, I read it again and can't read the same ethnic slight that he sees.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-64432671275881859732011-12-11T20:24:12.086-05:002011-12-11T20:24:12.086-05:00Well it seems like a win win to me, whatever the r...Well it seems like a win win to me, whatever the reason. Statements such as the authors potentially leave readers thinking that the lives of some are less important to memorialize than the lives of others.BigJimInDChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17164195823642206919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-42886924343897153462011-12-10T01:22:34.441-05:002011-12-10T01:22:34.441-05:00Seems to me that something should happen with that...Seems to me that something should happen with that triangular bank building.
