I also have a friend who bought an abdo building and when he asked for a fix on something he was never even responded to. They finish the building - they walk away and don't even think twice about helping fix something. I've heard that Robertson will actually show up at your door if you have any concerns after you buy. Now that's confidence in your product. anyway, I've seen the construction myself and don't understand how someone could possibly say anything negative about robertson buildings. real doors, real wood floors, real marble. I challenge anyone to walk into a robertson building, compare it to another and tell me otherwise. Go somewhere else, open those crappy home depot doors, check out the fake wood floor that'll peel up in 3 years - whatever you want. For a comparable cost per square foot you get real quality in Robertson stuff. These buildings are in a different ballpark completely than competing buildings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-59235916858565406352009-07-17T22:44:06.848-04:002009-07-17T22:44:06.848-04:00I heard great things about his projects and I like...I heard great things about his projects and I like their look. So I was really disappointed when I learned about the poor construction and lack of response to building issues. Perhaps his older buildings are of good quality, but I would be cautious of his new projects.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22305958.post-76052795443905472772009-07-15T20:20:46.732-04:002009-07-15T20:20:46.732-04:00I dont think theyre built well. He bought one anyway and said theyre real slow to fix anything once you buy it or they dont fix it at all. I've been a condo junky for a while - following Abdo, PN Hoffman and the like. Robertson Development projects are superb - bottom line. Anyone you ask in the city would agree.
