Located adjacent to the Potomac Avenue Metro, two metro stops from the Capitol Hill Office Buildings, Jenkins Row features a fitness center, front desk receptionist, underground parking, and encircled central courtyard with water fountains. In 2008 a Harris Teeter opened on the first floor. The project was built by JPI of Texas, which later disbanded its DC operations, and designed by SK&I Architectural Design Group. The building was designed to look less massive than it is, with varying architectural styles on the facade.

Hopefully a soon to be ex-tenant at Jenkins Row. The place looks nice and is at a very convenient location but the soundproofing is minimal. Add to the fact that most of the residents can't seem to understand the concept of city living and a pet-friendly condo and complain a lot about the amount of "noise" the community makes (ie dogs barking, trucks on the street, people walking). If you are looking for a friendly community, this is not the place to be.
I am part of the reason this person left. I've lived in many condos and will no longer tolerate rude dog owners. As a responsible older person with an early AM job, I make sure we try and keep the noise down. If you are a privileged drunken Millenial who thinks a dog has more rights than a human, I will be so on your case, so look elsewhere to live.
