On Tuesday, Fairfax Board of Supervisors will vote on the county's financial participation in Phase 2 of the Dulles Metro line as Virginia budgeteers haggle over whether to provide additional funding. The 23 mile Silver Line will extend rail service from the East Falls Church Metro station to the Dulles Airport. Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is building the rail extension. Phase 1, pictured below, has a price tag of $2.7b. Construction of Phase 1 is nearly 70% complete, and MWAA estimates the project will be done by late next year.

I wish folks at DC Mud could hire the right people that report correct information on projects in Virginia. Last couple of pics have nothing to do with the Silver line. We need localized reporters, not ones from DC or Maryland where their opinion becomes very bias/false. Im just saying...
Anon, I give up. What are they pics of then?
The HOT lane construction. They're flyover bridges for the exit/entrance ramp to Rt. 7. The construction of the metro and the construction of the road overlap where the metro crosses the Beltway.
As for the comment itself, the criticism seems pretty petty and ridiculous to me, but what do I know.
LOL ANON SAY "WE NEED" arrogantly like anyone includes him as a member of anything.....oh the comedy of this looser hey start your own blog if everything you do is right....

Wow you're so pathetic that I cant stop laughing at your ridiculous comment. I was implying that the editor need to verify the source. I guess if it makes you feel big to bash people instead of being helpful to the article then feel free. But I have to admit that your stupid criticism makes you look like a moron.
Maybe people should use names instead of "Anonymous". Right now, it just looks like a single crazy person is having an argument with himself. Also, using names makes people think before they post a comment calling another person a "moron". Anonymity on the internet empowers people to be @ssholes.

Yes Anonymous. You are correct. we should use names.
That person has issues; probably lack of confidence. They need to stay on topic instead bashing and calling people"Loosers". Maybe he wanted to make himself feel big and important. This blog is about exciting new development. Lets stick to it.
Thanks DCMud for going outside and taking pictures.
