Developers have released new renderings of the condos that will take up the largest vacant lot on Champlain Street. Federal Capital Partners and Altus Realty Partners will break ground shortly on a 41-unit condominium at 2337 Champlain Street, NW, in Adams Morgan. Designed by PGN Architects, the renderings show a contemporary structure with a split facade adjacent to the former brass knob warehouse.

Looks like a great infill project.
Do you know who did the renderings?
Wait till they meet the neighbors further down the street. That gun shot monitoring box and mobile police camera aren't there to welcome the new money...
I really hope that there's a level of detail which the drawings overlook. Strategic soldier courses in the masonry, subtle plane changes or shadowline fins in the metal panels, etc. Because, as shown, it looks cheap. Minimalism requires perfect materials and proportions, neither of which seems to be the case here.
@Anonymous #2: Nobody is impressed by your references to "Strategic soldier courses in the masonry, plane changes or shadowline fins in the metal panels, etc." As written, you appear to be disgustingly full of yourself.
Well, Anon at 10:13, your comment seems harsh, I thought the points above you were worth considering, maybe you could offer ideas yourself rather than trash others.
